The OMERACT Framework (Boers, 2014) provides guidance as to what should be considered for Core Domain Sets. The Framework relates to several existing taxonomy’s for health and disability including the ICF, and Nagi’s model of disablement. It is adapted for use in OMERACT highlighting the need to stretch across four “Areas” when thinking about domains, and to consider the intended and unintended impacts of a disease or treatment.
