The interpersonal relations that offer information, emotional relief, material aid and self-reliance (Revenson and Gibofsky, 1995). Although assessment scales such as the SS-A (Social Support Appraisals Scale) and SS-B (Social Support Behaviours Scale) have been developed, it is not yet possible to comprehensively measure the main components of the support a person receives from family and friends.
