Systematic Literature Review (SLR)

a structured, comprehensive, and transparent method for identifying, evaluating, and synthesizing all available research on a specific question or topic. Unlike traditional narrative reviews, an SLR follows a predefined protocol to minimize bias and ensure reproducibility. It typically involves systematic searching of multiple databases, explicit inclusion and exclusion criteria, and critical appraisal of the evidence.
