a structured 2.5-hour session held during the conference. It combines short presentations, open discussions, and interactive breakout groups to enable small-group work and deeper dialogue. Workshops are designed to actively involve all attendees so that topics reflect the needs, priorities, and perspectives of the entire OMERACT community.
Examples
At OMERACT 2025, the Composite Outcomes Development Workshop runs for 2.5 hours. After an opening presentation summarizing current progress, participants split into small breakout groups to discuss weighting methods for composite outcomes. The groups then reconvene to share insights, which are synthesized into recommendations for the working group’s next steps.
